President and Chief Executive Officer, FHLBank of Indianapolis

Brendan W. McGrath has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the FHLBank of Indianapolis since October 2025. Mr. McGrath served as Executive Vice President - Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at the FHLBank of Indianapolis from September 2024 to September 2025, after having served as Executive Vice President - Chief Risk Officer, effective January 2021, and Senior Vice President - Chief Risk Officer, effective May 2020. Prior to that, he held the role of Senior Vice President - Chief Analytics Officer, effective January 2019, and served in other roles at the FHLBank of Indianapolis since 2000. Mr. McGrath holds an undergraduate degree in finance and a graduate degree in accounting from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. He is a CFA® charterholder and is a CPA license holder.
